Shall we go over Curtis Sittenfeld’s amazing body of work again? Okay! Prep! The Man of My Dreams! American Wife! Life Ferris, I found myself drowning in despair after I finished Sittenfeld’s debut novel.She truly is a magnificent writer who develops full characters and dense environments that the reader gets lost in. Unlike Ferris, she continued to deliver excellence with each novel she released.
Her latest, Sisterland, was purchased upon its release last year and is just now coming down my conveyor belt. The book focuses on twin sisters with psychic abilities. Wonder Twin power activate! The drama begins when one twin finds herself a media darling, if you will, thanks to her abilities.
Random thought but with my lag time from purchase to consumption, it might be a smarter move for me to just wait until a book comes out in paperback format.
